KEXP is a proudly non-profit, community-powered radio station and relies on the support of individual listeners, who contribute over half of our funding. We can’t help but feel the love for our incredible donors - over 30,000 music lovers whose investments make KEXP a vibrant, unique music community! From the hundreds of messages we receive each day, it’s clear that music touches our lives in a way nothing else does. It roots us in our experiences, expands our thinking, connects us with each other, and brings pure moments of joy. In the last year, donor support enabled KEXP to continue to bring you the human-curated musical journeys you rely on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. But we are more than just a radio station, we’re a community of music lovers. Here are some ways donors helped this community thrive in 2024.
I wanted to become a regular donor because music is a gift for humanity and you guys work so hard to provide us all with so many different forms of that gift all day, every day. You expose millions of people to music and cultures that they otherwise probably wouldn't have ever been exposed to, and that is so important. I had all but stopped listening to radio, but KEXP has rekindled my love for radio!
