Nick Wisdom and AstroLogical are the producers behind Vancouver, BC duo Potatohead People, long-time purveyors of forward-thinking instrumental music. The pair joined forces a decade ago thanks to a community baseball league and a shared love for J Dilla and Madlib. Since their formation, they've gone on to release a handful of EPs and two LPs, with a majority of their releases finding a home on cutting-edge NYC label Bastard Jazz Records. Earlier this year they released their sophomore full-length album Nick & Astro's Guide to the Galaxy, which was another excellent showcase of their groovy laidback sound that blurs the lines between hip-hop, house, funk, boogie, soul, and R&B.
