Midnight in a Perfect World: Guedra Guedra

Guedra Guedra is the alias of Casablanca, Morocco-based electronic producer Abdellah M. Hassak. His music is a vibrant blend of visionary club-minded electronic rhythms with musical traditions drawn from across the continent of Africa. On August 29th, he released his second full-length album MUTANT via Domino Records sub-label Smugglers Way.

In regards to his mix, Guedra Guedra shares this beautiful message: "This mix moves through shifting geographies, from the Sahara to city streets, from ancestral echoes to bass-heavy futures. It’s a journey where rhythms carry memories of resistance and melodies open windows to imagined worlds. These are tracks that make me think and make me move, music that refuses borders and speaks many languages at once.
