With Cymbals Eat Guitars behind him, guitarist/vocalist Joseph D’Agostino has a new project: Empty Country. A debut full-length under the name will be released next year, but for now, we have two singles to whet our appetite, “Ultrasound” (featuring guest vocals from  the Wrens’ Charles Bissell and D’Agostino's wife Rachel) and today's featured track, “Jets.”

“Jets” is an elegant, piano-led track with D’Agostino singing in falsetto. He tells us, "It’s about tripping acid on Block Island in the summer of 2018, and about the end of civilized society. FDT!”
